William Harvey Jr., 65, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco on June 23, 2017. 
A memorial will be held at SGI-USA SF Buddhist Culture Center at 1 p.m. on July 22, 2017. The 
Center is located at 2450 17th St., San Francisco, Calif., 94110. 
William was born to William Harvey Sr. and the late Elisa Harvey in Oakland on Sept. 16, 1951. A 
lifelong resident of the Bay Area, he graduated from Oceana High School in Pacifica in 1969 and 
earned a BA in psychology from SF State University in 1978. For the majority of his professional life, he worked as an insurance representative and security officer for various local companies, most 
recently G4S Secure Solutions.
