Linda Ann Libonati Marshall passed on peacefully in her Paradise, California home January 21, 2009.
Although she had other childhood homes, Linda was raised primarily in Pacifica where she attended Fairmont Elementary and graduated from Oceana High School in 1969.
Her father, Edward Llbonati, was a public servant and the first president of the Fairmont Homeowner' s Association.
Her mother, Edith, was a kind-hearted woman with natural Irish wit and a keen sense of humor. Linda's unique appearance led some to believe that she was of American Indian decent.
She honored this connection in her existence and gave generously to American Indian organizations as well as many other charities.
Linda believed in the Golden Rule and with a heart of forgiveness she gave and lived generously, unselfishly and mostly without reciprocation.
Her soul lived in music. As drumming was her breath of.life, she played her heart out well into her 50s.

Sorry to hear this! I remember a bunch of us went to see the Who and lots of others at the Cow Palce, back in 1968. She ended up with one of Keith Moon's broken drumsticks which was fitting for a drummer like her!
